I look forward to my trips to Edwards Gallery, Kagawong, Manitoulin Island. This year there are new colours, shapes and designs to show. Early July I popped into Edwards to share some of the work I have done in collaboration with Jeff Fraser and Angela Jackmann, I hope you pop in and take a look - it's very different than the other pieces in the gallery.
I discovered clay by playing in the mud alongside Tobacco Lake at family cottages. My strong focus on functional forms reflects the geology, history and ruggedness of that beautiful land. The geology and history of Canada inspire me to provide pieces that are timeless, rugged, beautiful and functional, a tribute to our pioneering history and the strength and endurance of a people living in a breathtakingly stunning, challenging land.
